I literally shattered every vertebrae in my spine from head to toe, I've had 6 operations to reconstruct the bones in my spine and I've been paralyzed from my chest down 14x and I have a 15 yr old kid to care for. I've been to every Agency from here to Pluto with no luck. Basically me and my kid are going to be homeless by this coming week. I'm still waiting to hear from "ANYONE" here regardless of category or KeyWord. I have all of my Documentation and can prove every word without any doubt. Heck, you can even talk to my Doctors, Lawyer and my Surgeon. I'm just curious as to why no one has responded to me directly. Anyway. Thanks. PEACE:RONB

El rio is horrible, I would never send anyone to them. They told me I had four cavities, which I didnt believe. I decided to just go back to the dentist I had seen as a child and was glad I did. I had no cavities, and the fees were exactly the same as El Rio. This was four years ago and I still have no cavities. Please dont go to el rio, research costs of other dental offices and you will see that they are not cheaper

I just found out today that my daughter (her name is Ashley and she is 10 years old. Straight A student, VP of the leadership program at school, an all-around beautiful little girl) has to have emergency surgery to have her gall bladder removed, asap. I just lost my job, 9 days before Christmas, due to cutbacks, and also my insurance. Being a single mother of 3 kids, things have been really rough financially. My ex-husband also lost his job around the same time so I'm currently not even receiving child support. I have no idea how I will come up with the $6,000 that I need for her to have this surgery done. I have $2,000 of it but that was using all of my resources and I am now out of options. I know times are tough for everyone, so I really feel bad asking for help, especially from people that I don't even know. But my daughter has to have this surgery as soon as possible and I don't know what to do. Please please contact me if you are able to help me.

I have a wife and 2 children, and we live in Bowie, MD., my Dad just died and we are being evicted out of the house that my mother has been foreclosed upon by Bank of America, we have made several attempts and offers to the bank to somehow make things right so I can keep a roof over my kids head, they told my Mom that she was eligible for a loan modification, and in the process of acquiring the modification the bank continued with the eviction, and now they claim "it's too late, and we have to get out". My kids go to Bowie high school, and they make good grades, we have nowhere to go and this is totally devastating and ripping my family apart. The bank has now taken the property back and had an appraiser to value the house at 276000, they have scheduled an eviction for this week and we need emergency assistance to move into another house right now I guess, unless someone can help or intervene and save us from getting evicted, and work something out so we won't have to move. If that doesn't work out I am asking for help to immediately move into another house in the Bowie area so my kids will not miss school and run the risk of failing. I have a job, but according to Bank of America they will not give me a mortgage loan do to my credit score. All I am asking for is a chance to stay in the house that we live in and not be evicted, or obtain some type of emergency assistance to move into a sizable enough property to accomodate all of our things that we have worked so hard over the years to get. I work very hard, and I'm not one to ask for a handout but I have found myself in a situation that I could not have ever imagined that has me extremely worried about the future well being of my family. I can't hardly keep food in the refrigerator, let alone to even think about trying to survive after being "put on the street" with a family. Hello My name is Brian. On january 2 2012 we had a fire in the house my family was renting an apt. in. We lost everything and are now homeless. My wife is presently 4 months pregnant and i have a 2 daughters and a son 16- 13(son) and youngest is 8. We live in wesctchester ny and are looking for some finacial help. We lived in Ossining, n.y. any and all donations no matter how big or small would be such a blessing. Please help my family we are in a friends for now but cant stay much longer. With so many others needing help, I feel unworthy of asking, but the welfare of my family prompts me to try. I am in need of help with our electric bill I had surgery on my foot two weeks ago for an on the job injury. While I am receiving workers comp, it is not enough to cover everything. I am the sole supporter of my husband and my 90 year old mother who lives with us. My mother fell 3 weeks ago and has a wedge fracture of her L3 vertebrae. My husband is caring for both of us and he is just recovering from cancer. I make too much to qualify for public assistance and it is only for another month ot two. Our electricity will be shut off unless I can come up with $240 by the 28th. It is our only source of heat. Does anyone know where I can get help? Thank uou and Merru Christmas.

I've explained to the 13 and 12yr old that santa may come for them at income tax season lbvs

Been through this situation also... not the abuse...but the xmas... my prayers go out to you and hope you get the help you need.

I needed help long before Christmas Time started to roll around.I'm not too proud to ask for help but, since I lost my job ...I felt that help others and God will help you.So I spend my down time when not looking for work at the local food bank and shelter helping others.I have the usual problems a lot have with making my bills and health as well as depression.My problems are not as bad as others but I have to everyday pray for the strenghtn to keep busy finding a way to stay off the street and the poor house.I didn't think I'd find time to write this but the head of the food bank made me take a day off and gave me Aidpage URL address.I hope someone can find hope and help from what I do and say everyday whether or not anyone helps me..I know I've done all I could for them.I guess I'm asking for whatever you'd like to help me with.I know God will bless thoses who bless others so thats why I'm not pressing anyone for help...their been Times I had seems nothing at all and God made a way for me,So pray and believe I know he'll make a way for you too!

Why weren't you guys approved for food stamps and cash aid? It must have been because you guys had a better financial situation then now, so reapply for them, and you should be approved immediately.

I'm at a loss. I've got 2 kids, one is special needs. My husband and I were both laid off in the fall. Unemployment has made a horrible clerical error with his claim, so he has not seen a check in 3 months. They keep telling him that they will sort it out, but the supervisors are busy, so it'll be 4 more weeks.
Because he qualified for unemployment, we are denied any and all assistance. My money last month went to heat, so we are 2 months late on rent. I dont eat so i can feed the kids. There will be no presents for my babies this year. And that is tearing my heart out. They're so good, and don't deserve this.
I can't live with this any more. I don't want to see the day when we are homeless, or the food runs out.
I am at the end of my strength. There is no help for us, and we are victims of the unemployment offices error, which they are not rushing to fix. I have broken down begging, and they just told me to go apply for services, which were already denied months back.

I need help, and strength. I've worked my entire life, why can't there be help for my babies?
